Our community performs acts of lovingkindness throughout the year.
Our efforts are made by individuals as well as led by our Caring Committee, a group of congregants of all ages who reach out to other members in times of need.
Friendly visits, caring packages, making Shabbat dinners, phone calls, shivah visits, cards of congratulations — these are just some of the ways we reach out to each other.
If you know of anyone who is housebound or hospitalized and might enjoy contact with Beth Israel, please let us know.
Contact: Beth Dworkin and Sandy Berinstein through the office, gro.tcibcnull@learsihteb, 860-233-8215.
Misheberach List
We will read our misheberach list, prayer of healing, during our Shabbat Services.
Please let us know of names that should be read.

HIPAA Laws, patients, and clergy
HIPAA laws make it extraordinarily difficult for our clergy to know if a congregant is in the hospital or in a patient care facility.
If you are aware of any congregant who is hospitalized, or even confined at home, please let us know so we can visit.
