Donate to CBI Funds

A contribution to a CBI fund is a special way to remember friends or loved ones who have passed away, to honor people or special occasions, or to express wishes for recovery from an illness. Thank you for your support.

Congregation Beth Israel Contribution Form

Thank you for choosing to donate to Congregation Beth Israel. Charitable gifts have built and sustained us throughout our history. Your support provides us with funding for programming, various mitzvah projects, and other Temple related activities.

    General Chartiable Fund provides for non-specific operations of the Temple; Simcha Shabbat Fund is to honor a special simcha and to be recognized at our Simchat Shabbat services; Generations Capital Campaign provides funding for the Learning Center and other capital projects; New American Fund offsets the costs of the ESL classes held at the Temple.
    Legacy for our Future places current donations in an endowment.
    Deborah Library Fund provides for purchasing of new resources for the library collection; Learning Center Fund provides for staff hours beyond budgeted funds; the Sicklick Fund provides for resources for the Sicklick American Jewish History Collection, a special collection in the library; Feldman Museum Fund provides for the maintenance of the museum and to make new acquisitions; Friends of the Library provides support for special programming in the library.
    Dr. Frank E. Roth Fund provides for special programming for the school; Noah's Ark Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance for children attending Noah's Ark, or for financial assistance to a "graduate" of Noah's Ark, who is now attending college.
    West Hartford Temple Youth Group Fund provides for teen programming.
    Dr. Robert A. Kramer SAGE Fund provides for various programming and offsets speaker costs for our Tuesday programming for seniors.
    Brotherhood and Sisterhood Funds support the efforts of Brotherhood and Sisterhood.
    The clergy funds are for charitable purposes benefiting communal institutions, individuals, or the Temple.
    Caring Committee provides support during various holidays or life cycle events in a member's life along with support during illness; Social Justice Fund supports social action programs throughout the year; Sign Interpreter Fund provides support for the cost of sign interpreters at services or various programs at Temple.
    The Silver Courtyard and Cemetery Beautification Fund provides for the upkeep and special plantings; the Torah cover fund provides funding to upkeep and maintain the covers of Torahs at the Temple.
    Judith and Harvey Goldstein Music Fund provides for musical resources for the Religious School and library; Music Fund provides support for the overall music programs at the Temple; Piano/Organ Tuning Fund helps to offset cost associated with the upkeep of the piano/ organ.
    The Rosenfeld Fund provides funds for special religious school programming.
    The Merin Fund provides funding for special clergy programming throughout the year; The Falk Fund provides financial asssistance for those children in need in order to atttend the religious school.
