My Jewish Learning is a transdenominational website of Jewish information and education geared toward learners of all ages and educational backgrounds.

Judaism 101 is an online encyclopedia of Judaism, covering Jewish beliefs, people, places, things, language, scripture, holidays, practices and customs. Its goal is to make freely available a wide variety of basic, general information about Judaism, written from a traditional perspective in plain English. This web site is constantly growing, with new information added every few weeks.

Jewish Encyclopedia Online version of the 1906 print edition. It is old, but almost all the information hasn't changed!

Hebrew

Learn Hebrew is a free, on-line, educational resource to learn Hebrew words. The flash site incorporates 46 topics, along with over 1,700 Hebrew words and phrases. Each Hebrew word is presented as an image with nikud [vowels]. When you click on a word or phrase you can hear it spoken.

Reform Movement

The Union for Reform Judaism, the umbrella organization that we belong to has an extensive web presence with considerable information about all aspects of Judaism. A good place to start a search.

ClickonJudaism, is a project of the Reform Movement's URJ-CCAR Commission on Synagogue Affiliation. The purpose of clickonJudaism is to provide doorways into Judaism for Jews in their 20's and 30's, as well as those considering Judaism. It hopes to enable young Jews to explore the possibilities offered by liberal Judaism through points of interest and concern to them.



Social Justice

The Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (RAC) has been the hub of Jewish social justice and legislative activity in the nation's capital for over 40 years. It has educated and mobilized the American Jewish community on legislative and social concerns as an advocate in the Congress of the United States on issues ranging from Israel and Soviet Jewry to economic justice and civil rights, to international peace and religious liberty.

SocialAction.com explores social action, social justice work and Jewish life. It is a resource for Jews involved in activism, volunteering, and working for social change. The site supports readers in deepening the connection between Judaism and participation in tikkun olam (the Jewish obligation to be involved in repairing the world), and nurture the growing community of Jewish social justice activists.

Mazon: A Jewish Response to Hunger Founded in 1985, Mazon is a national, nonprofit agency which allocates donations from the Jewish community to nonprofit organizations providing food, help and hope to hungry people of all faiths and backgrounds.

URJ Summer Camps

Connect youth to a true sense of Jewish identity. The Union for Reform Judaism sponsors Camp Eisner and Crane Lake Camp, where young people will have the time of their lives.

KESHER is the College Education Department of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ). KESHER serves several different constituencies, including Reform college students, URJ Congregations and their College/Youth Committees, campus Hillel Foundations, and high school students exploring the possibilities of Jewish life on campus.
