New Members

Welcome, New Members!

Now you have the chance to experience our synagogue at a reduced cost! If you have never been a member of Congregation Beth Israel, you only have to pay 1/2 of regular dues for each of the first two years of your membership. This is a great time to try us out and experience what we have to offer you! Our synagogue has a variety of spiritual, educational, and social programs that speak to our commitment to Reform Judaism, the diversity of our congregation, and our sense of spirituality and community that we extend to all of our members.

Clare Feldman and Gail Mangs, Membership Committee Chairs, would be delighted to talk to you. Clare can be reached at 860-561-0736, Gail at mangs18@yahoo.com.

You may also call or email our office for more information about our community and annual dues. Contact Toni Robinson, our Temple Administrator, 860-233-8215 x225, trobinson@cbict.org.

Small print:
Reduced first and second year dues are extended if you have never been a member of Congregation Beth Israel. First 2 Years Membership: During each of the first two years of membership, the new member will be responsible for 50% of dues. However a new member who has a life cycle event in either of those two years must pay full dues in that year and any year thereafter. Every new member must pay the Energy/Security Assessment, and Youth Education Program fees, if they enroll a child in the program. This offer starts with the fiscal year July 2010-June 2011.
